Baby R’s Newborn Photography Session | 11 Days New
Meeting beautiful baby R at just 11 days old was such a lovely way to spend the morning. Having photographed her big sister when she was exactly the same age, it was incredibly special to welcome this growing family back to the studio and capture another chapter of their story.
For R’s newborn session, we chose a timeless colour palette of soft pinks, calming sage green, and classic grey. These gentle tones complemented her perfectly, creating a collection of images that feel both elegant and beautifully natural.
After plenty of cuddles, a full tummy, and a little patience, R drifted off into a deep sleep. Once she was settled, she was wonderfully content, allowing us to create a beautiful variety of those dreamy newborn images that parents love. Every baby has their own personality and their own pace, and sessions are always led by their needs. Taking the time to soothe, feed, and settle them is all part of the experience.
One of the most meaningful parts of this session was seeing how much the family has grown since I first met them. Looking back at the photographs of R’s big sister as a newborn and now photographing her little sibling at the very same age is a lovely reminder of how quickly these precious early days pass. It’s such a privilege to document these milestones and create images that families will treasure for years to come.
