Baby A’s First Birthday Cake Smash | A Little Boy on the Move!

I had the pleasure of meeting Baby A for the first time for his first birthday cake smash session.  It didn’t take long to discover that this little boy has a very cheeky personality — and a serious love of anything with wheels!

He is already walking at just one year old.  Baby A was very much on the move throughout his session. Curious and inquisitive; he wanted to explore his surroundings and investigate everything in sight.

He was full of cheeky little expressions and his inquisitive nature made him such fun to photograph. I loved watching him explore, toddle around and show us exactly what he was interested in. At this age, it’s so lovely to capture those little glimpses of personality — the things they love, the things they’re curious about and those expressions that are completely and wonderfully them.

Of course, a first birthday cake smash doesn’t have to just be getting covered from head to toe in cake. Sometimes it’s just about celebrating one whole year of this amazing little person and capturing them exactly as they are.

For Baby A, this meant plenty of exploring, lots of cheekiness, some very determined little steps and a definite preference for wheels over cake!

It was so lovely to meet you and capture this special milestone. I hope the year ahead is filled with plenty of adventures, lots of laughter and, naturally, lots of things with wheels!
